Architectural Aluminium Coatings Warehouse Painting

21 June 2018

Bagnalls carried out the repainting of the entire internal roof area and all the walls of the unit 1 factory area, along with offices in both units 1 and 2, for Architectural Aluminium Coatings (AAC), in Wolverhampton.

We also undertook the external coating works to the factory’s steel canopy and the steel tanks on site All surfaces were initially cleaned down prior to two coats of Johnstones’ steel and cladding paint system being applied.

The work was confined to a tight timescale of two weeks over the Christmas shutdown period, and a team of seven painters were dedicated to the project to ensure that works were fully completed during the holidays.

To enable clear access, all work was completed from cherry pickers, operated by our trained painters, as no equipment or machinery within the factory areas could be moved.

All areas were sheeted for protection and paint was applied by an airless spray system to the roof. The framework, conveyor belts and shutter doors were painted using brushes and rollers.

The customer was very pleased with the way we handled all aspects of the job, especially meeting such a tight timescale at a festive time of the year.
