Durham County Council and Bagnalls have been working in partnership for many years. We undertake maintenance painting work on a diverse portfolio of properties from bungalows and flats to period and historic accommodation. Despite the broad range of properties, the key requirements of the partnership are to:

• Produce a quality paint finish, to time and to budget
• Ensure regular communication with residents to discuss plans and progress on their individual dwelling
• Keep appointments made with residents
• Implement special measures to cater for vulnerable residents or those with special needs
• Ensure all areas are kept clean and tidy at all times, during and after completion of the painting programme.

 
Bagnalls work closely with supply chain partner, Crown Paints, to deliver the painting works to specification and to meet the lifecycle performance required by the Council. Crown Paints are one of the UK's leading paint manufacturers and are able to offer innovative solutions to projects. For example, Macpherson's Marbletex masonry paint was used on the Georgian and Edwardian properties providing a weather resistant smooth coating. A powerful blend of fungicides and algaecides is incorporated in the paint to protect against organic growths and the smooth finish of the coating ensures minimal dirt pick-up and easy application by brush, roller or airless spray.
