ROK appointed Bagnalls to carry out works to three of BAAs VIP Suites at Heathrow Airport. The "Hounslow Suite", the "Spelthorne Suite" and the "Hillingdon Suite" are all located in different terminals at Heathrow Airport and are used by Royalty, diplomats and politicians.

This is one of many projects Bagnalls has carried out for ROK at Heathrow Airport but noticeably one of the most prestigious and decorative areas Bagnalls has completed so far.

Working in this high security area, all Bagnalls operatives hold a BAA security pass and have attended a specialist training course on Airport security.

Due to the sensitive nature of the guests coming into the VIP suites, the works were carried out during normal working hours on areas that could be closed off to the VIPs and during nightwork hours for common areas such as corridors. Operatives were also informed they may have to vacate areas at short notice, if required.

The work involved some time consuming operations including stripping of multiple layers of limewash paint to panels and stripping of wallpaper. Once the areas were stripped back, new wallcoverings were applied and the wall panels were stained to give an American Walnut finish.

All areas were completed on time and to the customer’s satisfaction.
