Stowe School
Stowe School – Maintenance Painting Programme
Bagnalls has carried out extensive painting work at Stowe School in Buckinghamshire. Stowe School is regarded as one of the finest co-educational boarding schools in the country and one of Britain's finest 18th century houses. The work initially undertaken by Bagnalls entailed the redecoration of student bedrooms in both the Grafton and Chatham boarding houses as well as the redecoration of several rooms in other buildings across the school.
Dulux Diamond Matt emulsion was specified on all walls to ensure durability. Dulux Diamond Matt is a tough, durable emulsion, resistant to many common stains and can be wiped clean. It is 10 times tougher than vinyl silk and therefore ideal for high traffic environments.
Bagnalls actively seeks feedback on the quality of their work and were delighted to receive a flawless Customer Satisfaction Survey from the client upon completion of the project. These initial works have since been supplemented year on year by further painting requirements to uphold the prestigious image of the school.
The main school building, once the mansion of the Dukes of Buckingham and Chandos, is set in 750 acres of historically significant landscaped gardens and parkland. Saved from certain destruction by the foundation of Stowe school, the house and grounds have been in continual use since 1923.
