Leicester City Council
External Redecoration of Leicester City Schools
As both an Exor Gold Accredited and Constructionline registered firm Bagnalls successfully tendered and won the Finishes section of Leicester City Council’s Measured Term Contract for reactive maintenance set against a National Schedule of Rates.
We are now Leicester City Council’s preferred painting contractor on commercial properties.
Our Leicester branch is the latest branch to be established in our nationwide branch network and therefore it was a great accomplishment to be working so closely with our local authority in only our second year of trading. Our contract with Leicester City Council has allowed us to develop our strategy of employing from the local communities in which we are working and reinvesting back into the community by working with local suppliers and specialist contractors.
Since the summer of 2009 Bagnalls has been working constantly on many projects for Leicester City Council including museums and community centres, however most of the painting work has consisted of the external repair and redecoration of many of the city’s primary and junior schools.
Bagnalls directly employs all painting personnel and can offer customers the peace of mind of supporting projects with operatives that have been CRB checked, a key requirement for many educational institutions.
To undertake all the aspects of work required we project manage other specialist trades to solve maintenance issues and undertake complementary works to the redecoration, such as joinery, carpeting and electrical work.
Finished projects include work at Alderman & Richard Hallam School, Rushey Mead Primary, Inglehurst Primary School, Humberstone Infants and Junior School, Ellesmere College, Medway Primary School and Scraptoft Valley.
