Bagnalls has a breadth of experience working for all types of leisure facilities from football stadiums to leisure centres and cricket grounds to local tourist attractions.

Our experience dates back to the autumn of 1922 when we embarked on the painting of the original Wembley stadium, using 200 tons of paint and enormous quantities of gold leaf, to be completed in time for the FA cup final between Bolton Wanders and West Ham United in April 1923. (2-0 to Bolton if you were wondering).

No two leisure facilities are the same so we have to work closely with the client to ensure that we deliver our painting works in line with their individual needs. This often means:

  • Flexible working in line with the venue’s requirements, including out of hours, night working and short notice maintenance works
  • Cordoning off work areas to create safe areas of work, allowing access and egress at all times
  • Supplying small teams of painters to a project to work unobtrusively when the facility remains open to the general public
  • Dedicating large teams of painters to complete a painting project in a short period of time prior to a major event

Our customers include Cardiff Millennium Stadium, Blackpool Pleasure Beach, Manchester United Football Club and Lords Cricket Ground.
