Bagnalls has undertaken numerous office refurbishment projects over the years. We manage the whole decoration process for the customer, from out of hours working and security to the use of low odour paints so that personnel are not affected by smells the following day. We ensure that the correct specification of paint is chosen for life cycle maintenance, budgets and required levels of wear and tear. No two office refurbishment projects are the same and we will deliver a bespoke painting and decorating service to meet your requirements.
We receive specialist technical support from the leading paint manufacturers on the most suitable coatings for communal areas such as stairwells and corridors, in line with RRFSO: the Regulatory Reform [Fire Safety] Order which came into effect in 2006. This legislation confirms a duty on owners, managers of buildings and employers to carry out fire risk assessments. During the specification process we will work together with the chosen paint manufacturer to provide you with the most suitable products to reinstate sound surfaces to Class ‘0’.This then allows the occupants, residents or employees in the building more time to get out in the case of a fire.
Building refurbishment projects can also be done where more than just painting, decorating and specialist coating work is required. We project manage the refurbishment project and with the support of carefully vetted subcontract partners we carry out the full spectrum of works.
We also undertake refurbishment work in the Retail sector and completed a very successful programme of works for Somerfield Supermarkets, through our Special projects Division. We managed the painting programme in over 900 stores. In the past, Somerfield have managed decorating projects on a store-by-store basis. This time round, to achieve economies of scale and ensure the same high standards throughout, they wanted to use a single company that could carry out all the work across the entire country and they chose Bagnalls.
