Bagnalls has, for many years, enjoyed a reputation in our industry for our commitment to our apprenticeship programme. To supplement the college training provided under the CITB (Construction Industry Training Board) scheme, we established our own Painting Academy in order to provide additional practical skills training in a controlled environment.

The facility, managed by our Group Technical and Training Manager and a dedicated Craftsman Tutor, provides an environment where young people can build their confidence in painting and decorating and familiarise themselves with new products before putting them in to action on a customer's premises.

The Painting Academy is also used by more experienced employees to polish-up their skills or familiarise themselves with new products in advance of undertaking painting projects for our customers. The facility continues to support our passion for developing our own people in-house as well as helping us to produce the highest standards of workmanship expected by our discerning customers.
