2014 sees Bagnalls celebrating ten successful years since it first opened the doors of its Painting Academy,to over 450 apprentices as well as marking fifty years service of one of the company’s most loyal painters, Geoff Williams.
Past and present apprentices gathered to join in the celebrations, with PDA Apprentice winners dating back to 1998 and Skillbuild finalists from 2007. The training academy was formerly opened in 2004 by Stephen Bagnall, “It was an honour opening the academy in 2004 and knowing how many apprentices have passed through these doors, makes me very proud. It is a significant investment on the company’s behalf, above and beyond what is required by the CITB, but we believe that it is money well spent. Investing in our apprentices results in a long term investment in craftsmen painters for the future.”
