Bagnalls have just been accepted as members of the 5% Club. The 5% Club is an industry led initiative to support the recruitment and development of apprentices and graduates into the workforce. To become a member you have to sign up to the club’s charter to employ at least 5% of your UK workforce through structured training schemes. Bagnalls joins the ranks of the other member companies including KPMG, Airbus, Balfour Beatty, the Ministry of Defence and Qinetiq.
Bagnalls is well known in the painting industry and by customers for being committed to apprenticeships, with a well-established apprenticeship scheme that recruits young people from all over the country to work in its UK wide network of branches. As well as supporting Management Trainees through graduate schemes.
Joanne Gualda, Director said “We have felt the benefits of having an apprenticeship scheme for many years. With a skills shortage in the construction industry it needs companies to make a commitment to recruit and develop young people at all levels of their business. We will continue to advance our young talent and support them in becoming the future foremen, contracts managers and Branch Managers of Bagnalls.”
