Allerton Castle, a grade 1 listed Victorian Gothic style house, originally built in 1843, is often used as a backdrop for films and televisions series. The house went through a major restoration process started in 1983 when Doctor Gerald Rolph, an American business man, bought the property. The renovation took many years and resulted in a property of the highest standard, filled with lavish furniture and fine paintings.
The location is highly sought after, however, once filming is complete the house must be returned to the same condition as pre-filming. That’s where we offer a helping, painting hand. Our craftsmen decorators, with years of experience working on listed buildings, undertook the intricate painting works and ensured that all areas were fully protected before painting and during the drying process.
