Bagnalls is always looking at ways of painting a greener future for its customers. That is why we are test driving a Nissan e-NV200 100% Electric van, at the University of Leeds. This van has no internal combustion engine or traditional transmission so with fewer moving parts than the average van, there should be lower maintenance costs. No petrol, no oil changes and no tune-ups means there will be added cost benefits over the long term, as well.
The main benefit though is ZERO EMISSIONS, a significant environmental plus, when getting to and from jobs, a major part of a Painting Contractor’s role. It is also virtually silent when driving which is great for early morning starts and working in residential areas. Let’s hope the trial goes well…..
