Bagnalls have a long and well established working relationship with South West Trains, having now worked for them for over 15 years. Bagnalls regularly redecorates station buildings and platform areas on South West Trains stations to maintain their high company standards.
Bagnalls has excellent knowledge of all the stations managed by South West Trains and as an Achilles RISQS audited contractor, we have demonstrated our competencies to meet their requirements regarding safety, experience, quality, access, directly employed and trained personnel and management capability.
Windsor and Eton station was a particular project of note. Opened in 1849 as a Royal station, Windsor and Eton is one of South West Trains “Heritage” stations. In the case of Windsor and Eton this not only means that some of the station buildings are Grade II listed but it also means that the scheme for the station is not the typical South West Trains colours and are in fact “Royal” approved colours. It is also the main station used by visitors attending events at the Eton Dorney Lake, an Olympic sporting venue, so needs to look pristine at all times.
Bagnalls dedicated a team of directly employed, trained painters to do the general redecoration works and PTS (Personal Track Safety) trained operatives working in the higher risk areas, on night shifts and during track closures, to enable works to be carried out above the track to decorate the ornate roof structure.
