Bagnalls has been named a winner at the RoSPA Health and Safety Awards 2017. We have been awarded another Gold Medal in the prestigious annual scheme run by the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA). This now means that Bagnalls have received EIGHT gold awards in a row, a recognition of our commitment to safety and an achievement that any company would be very proud of.
The award has been attained during a special year for the family-safety charity, RoSPA, as it celebrates its centenary. Through the RoSPA Awards scheme, judges consider entrants’ overarching occupational health and safety management systems, including practices such as leadership and workforce involvement. The majority of awards are non-competitive and mark achievement at merit, bronze, silver and gold levels. Gold medals, president’s awards and orders of distinction are presented to organisations sustaining the high standards of the gold level over consecutive years.
Andrew Harrison, Group SHE Manager, said “Achieving another Gold Medal RoSPA award acknowledges our ongoing commitment to health and safety, as a company. We engage with our management and site teams to achieve consistently high safety levels, year on year, and are always striving for continuous improvement.”
Headline sponsor of the RoSPA Awards 2017 is NEBOSH – the National Examination Board in Occupational Safety and Health – for the 12th consecutive year.
