Bagnalls have always been a keen supporter of apprenticeships and have been recruiting apprentices since our establishment in the Victorian times. 140 years on, we still acknowledge and celebrate the positive impact apprenticeships can have on our business.
Here at Bagnalls, we are a member of The 5% Club – a movement of employers working to create skills training opportunities for apprentices, students and graduates. It aims to make a difference to people’s lives and our UK economy by letting people earn as they learn.
We feel as a trusted British company that we have made a public commitment to apprenticeship recruitment and a personal promise to many customers who drive apprenticeship recruitment in their communities.
Bagnalls have a bespoke training academy for our apprentices in Doncaster. This is where they can practice their skills and hone them into a precise art, as well as learning from craft painters on customer sites and through their local college tuition.
We’re proud to say that most of our current craft painters started their careers with Bagnalls as apprentices and we hope this is the route taken by many more in the future. We urge other employers to consider recruiting apprentices as a commitment to supporting young people and the future.
Bagnalls are supporting National Apprenticeship Week (4th-8th March) and our apprentices past, present and future.
