September 4th marked a significant date for Paul Hogan, a senior foreman at our Bristol branch. He retired from Bagnalls after 49 years and 3 months of loyal service. During his long career, Paul has worked on many prestigious projects including the Assembly rooms in Bath, Bristol Airport, 4 years managing Selwood Housing Association works, and of course delivering high quality decorative work across many universities, schools and commercial premises. He also played a pivotal role on sites supporting many apprentices, throughout his career, with their early years training.
Paul was presented with an engraved Bristol Blue Glass decanter and glasses to mark the occasion, as well as an all expenses paid fishing trip. He added “I started working for Bagnalls in 1971, not realising then that I would remain with the company for nearly 50 years. I would just like to say a big thank you and goodbye to all my fellow colleagues. I’m not sure I want to retire now, they are a great team and I will miss them very much.”
