Celebrating 25 Years with Bagnalls

Joe Irvins from our Cardiff branch recently celebrated 25 years of work with Bagnalls!

In celebration, we were pleased to award Joe with a watch in recognition of his time at the company so far. Reminiscing on his time at Bagnalls, Joe said:

“I started working for Bagnalls in September 1996. I still remember coming home after finishing my last exam in high school and my mum waving the local paper in front of me saying: “There’s a company called Bagnalls looking for apprentice painters, I’ve already sent your CV off.”

“25 years on and I’ve had the privilege of working on many projects all over Cardiff. Some notable projects I’ve worked on recently include Cardiff’s Principality Stadium, Wales Millennium Centre and Mermaid Quay, all of which I’m quite proud to tell anyone who will listen that I worked on.

“To anyone coming into the trade, I would say what my old college tutor told me: “It might not be the most glamorous job but you will always have work, money and you’re never in the same place for very long.”
