Family Business Road Trip Drops By Bagnalls

Paul Andrews, MD of Family Business United, and Simon Taylor of Mattioli Woods took time out of their busy schedule to visit Bagnalls Training Academy as part of their Family Business Road Trip 2022. Following a short presentation on Bagnalls’ heritage and values by Stephen Bagnall, Group Managing Director, and Joanne Gualda, Group Marketing Director, a tour of the newly-refurbished academy was made.

Paul was amazed at the quality of work produced by the apprentices and their obvious enjoyment of the painting and decorating craft. He was particularly pleased to see the FBU logo newly painted by one of the apprentices and the outstanding mural which adds a modern vibe to the academy. After several photos, it was time to say goodbye and on parting, Paul praised the reception he had been given: “What a memorable morning, it is so good to see young people with such talent and positive attitudes. It is clear that Bagnalls is a family business that lives by its values of people development and being a caring employer. With a heritage that extends 5 generations, Bagnalls is a company that resonates all that is admirable in a family business.”
