Wanted – Enthusiastic person to join our Management Training Scheme for a national painting and decorating contractor.
This exciting opportunity offers the chance to be trained in all aspects of project managing painting and decorating contracts, including customer liaison, surveying, estimating, cost control and managing projects from initial enquiry through to completion and final account agreement.
You will be given support by a mentor to help you to develop. You’ll be given the opportunity to train and get further qualifications, alongside practical experience, dealing with the “hands on” running of projects in a busy contracting office.
As you progress through your first few years in your career with Bagnalls you will have the opportunity to manage your own jobs and be responsible for developing your own customer base. If you are successful in the role, we will encourage you to progress further within our business.
The role of Trainee Manager would suit you if you are looking to build a long term career within the construction industry. You may be a school leaver or graduate looking for a career as a project manager or surveyor. Alternatively, you may have some trade experience and are now looking to progress into a management role.
We will provide full support and training to allow you to build on your previous skills and experience. More important than your academic qualifications will be your commitment to succeed, an ability to put the needs of the customer first and a positive approach to continuous learning. The initial salary will reflect the fact that this is a trainee post with a high level of support and input needed for your development. You will have the prospect of higher salary, performance related bonus and company car as you progress within the team. The exact salary will depend on qualifications already obtained and relevant previous experience.
