The maintenance decorating of historic properties is an essential element of their long term conservation. We can source and apply specialist products or discuss the use of modern materials to preserve the buildings. Many current paints have low VOC (volatile organic compounds) content which offer lasting protection and have a minimal impact on the environment.
We will work with our supply chain to ensure that the products specified are compliant with the substrates being painted and where requested we will match the colours used in the original historic palette of the building. Care and attention is taken throughout the process to ensure that the overall finish is as natural as possible and in keeping with the unique ambience of the property.
This attention to detail and consideration for the customer and the building being redecorated is evidenced by the many historical projects we have successfully completed. Over the years we have received awards from the PDA for work on heritage properties including Souter Lighthouse for the National Trust, the Assembly Rooms in Bath and the Brontë Parsonage Museum in Haworth.
