Building Maintenance

Our building maintenance capability encompasses the management and delivery of reactive and planned building fabric refurbishment, structural repair and minor civils works.

As building maintenance contractors, we deliver our planned and reactive service, 24 hours a day, seven days per week.

We have experience of working in public environments where buildings are occupied and in use when the works need delivering. Or, accessing isolated sites with security permissions to deliver works under our own management.

We secure long term partnerships with customers to provide a quality service which is flexible and bespoke to meet the needs of each customer.

Our building maintenance capabilities include:

  • Roofing & Cladding (slating, tiling, felting, liquid, single ply)
  • Joinery (fascias, soffits, rainwater goods, door fixing, partitions)
  • Plumbing & internal drainage (cisterns, taps, leaking pipes, blockages)
  • Toilet and shower room refurbishment
  • Tiling (wall and floor tiles)
  • Disabled Access Improvements
  • Plastering (walls and ceilings)
  • Painting & Decorating (internal and external)
  • Window/door replacement (timber, GRP, uPVC, composite, steel security)
  • Lock repairs and installing security measures
  • Brick & Stone work (repairs, boundary walls, retaining walls, coping stones)
  • Removing loose or defective pointing and replacement with compatible mortar.
  • Boundary & retaining walls (construction, repair and demolition)
  • Grubbing out and treatment of vegetation, raking out loose or defective mortar and repointing.
  • Removal, reinstatement or renewal of coping details.
  • Refurbishment of metalwork including repairs to steel, cast iron or wrought iron structures
    • Preparation and renewal of surface finish to metal structures (bridge beams, lighting columns).
    • Cutting out and renewal of corroded sections to steel and cast iron structures.
    • Maintenance / renewal of access platforms (including stairways, fixed ladders, platforms and walkways)
    • Removal and renewal of defective metal structures

We provide a tailored solution to coordinate your building maintenance and structural refurbishment needs, supported by a mobile workforce management system which facilitates programming, delivery and scheduling of works.  We provide customers with up-to-date management information for job progressing and key performance management, which replaces the need for manual inputting and transferring of data.

As building maintenance contractors, we manage both high volumes of low value jobs as well as planned, refurbishment projects. We have field based personnel with the technical expertise to assess and deliver the most appropriate solution to your maintenance needs. We also have a dedicated telephone support line for reacting to urgent maintenance requirements and emergency out-of-hours response.

Our directly employed workforce and our supply chain partners are all technically competent to meet the quality, health, safety and environmental performance required by our wide range of customers.

To monitor compliance with effective health and safety practice, we employ independent safety consultants to undertake random site audits and advise us on matters of health, safety, welfare and the environment. Our safety performance has been rewarded many times by RoSPA.
