Oxfam National Repainting Programme

02 January 2024

Planned in phases, Bagnalls is delivering a national, planned cyclical maintenance painting programme to improve the front of each of Oxfam’s stores.

Works are coordinated and managed centrally by our Special Projects team, who in turn plan the delivery of works with local Bagnalls teams across the country. No two Oxfam shops are the same and the work required to bring them to standard can differ greatly, with some shops needing extensive wood repairs to windows and doors and others requiring masonry works to be undertaken prior to painting.

What is of utmost importance is that work is undertaken safely and with minimum disruption to Oxfam’s customers and staff. Furthermore, it is imperative that the general public can still safely use the pathways outside the charity shops. So, our site teams, trained in customer care, make sure that their work areas are clearly barriered off and always kept neat and tidy.

anaging the logistics of such a vast redecoration programme is not straightforward, however, Bagnalls has the expertise and experience of delivering Oxfam’s requirements. We provide management information for each invoicing period to demonstrate the completion of each phase in line with the overall programme and compliance with specification. Our completed works support Oxfam’s requirement to create a more inviting retail threshold for their customers to cross.

The property team from Oxfam can rely on Bagnalls to manage and deliver the entire programme of work in a timely manner whilst also meeting the quality and cost requirements of the project.
