Utility companies regularly plan maintenance painting to pipework, storage vessels, gas holders, substations and structural steelwork to minimise the impact of corrosion and the elements on their infrastructure. Our National Painting Division coordinates regional and national painting and coating programmes for utility companies to protect assets and plant.
We continue to meet the high standards required to achieve Achilles UVDB Verify through external audit, which interrogates our company’s office and site-based working practices in health, safety, environmental and quality matters.
Some of the UK utility companies we regularly work for include, Cadent, National Grid, Severn Trent Water, Northern Gas Networks, Yorkshire Water and BOC. We work with each company to complete planned and reactive maintenance painting across their assets applying specialist coatings to rigorous specifications. Quality checks are conducted at each stage of preparation and application to ensure specifications are met, guaranteeing assets are protected from corrosion for years to come.
In addition to painting and coating applications, we can provide bespoke-manufactured Access Deterrent Measures* (ADMs) to prevent unauthorised access to structures and a minor civils service in the Midlands and Northern regions.
As a member of the Institute of Corrosion (ICORR) our customers can be assured of our commitment to the professional application of coatings and their inspection using our own directly employed ICATS (Industrial Coatings Applicator Training Scheme) qualified painting personnel and paint inspectors.
