Bagnalls Refreshes the Exterior of the Ashton Primary Care Centre

Our North West branch recently had the pleasure of completing an exterior redecoration project for the Ashton Primary Care Centre in Ashton-under-Lyme. We love working in the healthcare sector, helping to make NHS buildings more welcoming and calming for staff, patients and visitors alike.

We were asked to complete this particular project by our customer Dante FS Group and our North West team was only too happy to accept! The team carried out a full external redecoration to the render façade, updating and refreshing the overall look of the building’s exterior.

The project was completed within four weeks and the team used Mobile Elevating Work Platforms (MEWPs) and scaffold access in order to reach all areas safely. All required permits were obtained from the council prior to the commencement of the work.

As the Ashton Primary Care Centre receives a lot of foot traffic and multiple cars passing through its car park, it was critical that we ensured continued safe and easy access for staff, patients and visitors. This was achieved through the placement of safety barriers, protecting the public throughout the progression of our project.

We began by jet-washing the external render façade, ensuring it was thoroughly cleaned and prepped for painting. Our team then applied two coats of Johnstone’s Smooth Masonry paint to the render areas to achieve the clean, finished look.
