Bagnalls is renowned as a specialist painting, decorating and coatings contractor, both locally in West Yorkshire and nationally across the UK.

We were named Supreme Winners at the Painting and Decorating Association (PDA) awards in 2023 for our success when undertaking logistically demanding painting and decorating works at the newly built Royal Liverpool University Hospital (RLUH).

Bagnalls directly employs all of its painters and decorators. We have a long-standing record of employing new talent through our award-winning apprenticeship programme.

Our head office in Cleckheaton provides a central point of contact for many companies that need us to manage their national painting projects.

Through our Special Projects division, we deliver rebranding projects and refresh painting and decorating works for several prestigious companies, including Oxfam, Sue Ryder and many of the leading facility management (FM) companies.

As a specialist in the painting and decorating industry, we ensure every logistical detail of a painting project is met, including:

Our trained industrial painters can deliver complex industrial coatings projects in high-risk environments, covering everything from rail services to power plants. Our long-term coating solutions protect vital utility and infrastructure assets.

Our Contracts Managers and Site Supervisors plan and manage safe systems of work. Our managers have completed the site managers safety training scheme (SMSTS) and our supervisors hold a site supervisors safety training scheme (SSSTS) qualification.
