Industrial Painters Ellesmere Port

Our Ellesmere Port branch has a long-standing history of providing industrial coatings for major companies, including Associated Octel and Shell, when they were first being built. This was followed by years of site maintenance painting.

Our Favourite Projects

Cemex

We’re proud to still be the painter of choice for Cemex after 17 years. We recently completed painting works to the main external plant of four of Cemex’s North West sites. This project is close to our North West contracts manager’s heart, as he previously managed the initial project with Cemex in 2006! The original project was his first as a contracts manager. The coating our team applied under his supervision 17 years earlier was still intact and simply needed a refresh. We maintained high levels of safety throughout the project whilst allowing Cemex to continue its vital production with minimal disruption.

Avanti West Coast Rail

Our team also completed some brilliant work for Avanti West Coast Rail, delivering a demanding painting programme across 22 stations. We maintained high levels of safety throughout the entire programme, ensuring that the public and rail staff could continue their day as normal. The skills and experience of our painters were particularly evident when the intricate picking of heritage colours was required on stations at Preston, Crewe, Carlisle and Coventry. Working on several listed buildings within these heritage stations meant our team had to carefully adhere to the conservation officers’ requirements for listed buildings status.

Picton Reading Room

Our Ellesmere Port team also really enjoyed redecorating the Picton Reading Room’s majestic dome ceiling. The Picton Reading Room is a grade II-listed building on William Brown Street, Liverpool, which now forms a significant part of the Liverpool Central Library. Our painters worked safely and with attention to detail, reaching the ceiling via mechanical access platforms. The Picton Reading Room remained closed to the public during the project, so it was critical for Bagnalls to meet the programme dates and allow the library to reopen on time. Our dedicated team of skilled painters carried out the redecoration works to a consistent high-quality, creating a truly stunning finish.
