With over 140 years as a specialist painting contractor with an industrial heritage, we have the experience and know how, to ensure that maintenance painting works do not impede on production output and ultimately profit margins.
We work across all types of manufacturing from food production to motor vehicle assembly and our painting capabilities span all site needs from office redecoration through to external cladding and warehouse repainting. Customers we have worked for include McCain Foods, Saint Gobain Isover and Bridon International.
How we work
We work closely with our supply chain and industry contacts to ensure the most appropriate coatings specification is applied to your assets to protect them and provide longevity. Systems used vary from specialist, long-lasting one or two pack epoxy resin coatings through to standard protection from glosses and emulsions. Our supply chain partners’ technical teams can be called upon to offer their technical expertise where required.
All aspects of the painting process will be closely managed by a dedicated Contracts Manager and competent site team from a local branch. We ensure that our site teams have the required competencies to meet the needs of each location including hygiene training when working in food factories, induction attendance and permits to work. Furthermore, to meet tight deadlines planning is crucial, and our staff often work during planned shutdowns, nights or weekends to achieve the programme requirements.

A bespoke working method and risk assessment will be created for each project considering cleanliness, site tidiness, implementation of time saving techniques such as spraying or quick dry paints, sequencing of works, safety and programming to ensure that we do not impede on critical production processes.

For one off local projects, works will be undertaken by the local branch. However, for national refresh programmes and customers with a national portfolio, our Special Projects division will successfully manage and coordinate the works through a single point of contact.
