Bagnalls Extends Lifespan of Barton Petroleum Tanks

Bagnalls’ Leicester branch recently completed some work for fuel supplier Barton Petroleum. We were asked to jet wash and paint various petroleum tanks and additional pipework.

Using scaffolding and Mobile Elevating Work Platforms (MEWPs), our team was able to complete this work in just four weeks, all the while adhering to rigorous safety and quality standards.

Our team prepared the surface of the tanks thoroughly using high-pressure jet washing. We then added a primer, undercoat and gloss coat using high-quality Tikkurila products, ensuring the petroleum tanks are protected against the famously unpredictable British weather!

These state-of-the-art protective coatings work to significantly extend the lifespan of the structures themselves while enhancing their aesthetic. This will mean minimal maintenance concerns in the future for Barton Petroleum.

We also coated a large quantity of associated pipework, using Johnstones’ Smooth Metal paint to help protect the pipes from the elements.
