Our people are directly employed, many of which have long-service histories with the company which means that they have been regularly trained to develop their skills and meet industry requirements, gained experience across a wide number of customer sites and demonstrated through their customer care that they believe in the company’s values.
Quality is in the hands of each individual working for Bagnalls as well as the project management and delivery of every contract we undertake. Each operative is responsible for ensuring first-hand that the quality requirements are met, then additional checks are made by the Site Supervisor and Contracts Manager. This means projects are not handed back to customers until we are happy with the work that has been completed.
To ensure customer satisfaction at the end of every project we ask for feedback from our customers to understand if there are areas where we can improve further or if there are changes that we can make to enhance the quality of work or service to meet the individual needs of a customer. We often receive glowing reports about the individual delivery and project management of the site teams on a project which we ensure is fed back to the individuals concerned.
Our workmanship and customer service are award winning and we have been recognised regularly by our trade body, the Painting and Decorating Association (PDA), the leading paint manufacturers and customers for our expertise, clearly setting us apart in the market.
We manage quality in accordance with our externally accredited ISO 9001 quality management system, which is integrated into our Health, Safety and Environmental responsibilities. We were one of the first UK painting contractors to adopt quality management under BS5750 in 1992 and have continued to comply with the audit requirements of the British Standards Institute (BSI) ever since.
