Bagnalls Delivers Revamp for NatWest

Bagnalls is proud to count banking giant NatWest among our brilliant projects. Our customer, ISS, commissioned our team to complete a full redecoration of the banking hall and back-of-house areas at the NatWest Granby Street branch in Leicester.
We were also honoured to be given the task of refurbishing the intricate dome ceiling, which required careful workmanship and specialist access equipment.
In total, our Leicester branch team prepped and painted a surface area of 3,777m2 throughout the bank.
This work involved extensive preparation, including the sanding down of uneven wall surfaces and the application of a relevant undercoat to ensure a high-quality finish. A gloss coat was also applied to selected surfaces.
Following the paint specification provided to our team, Bagnalls also applied two coats of Ultra Flat Matt, achieving a smooth, high-quality finish. Previously varnished areas we also re-varnished, restoring their original sleek appearance.
In order to reach the domed ceiling, our fully trained team used a combination of a spider lift, towers and a scissor lift. All safety protocols were rigidly adhered to while working at height, ensuring efficiency, while also protecting the physical health and mental wellbeing of all Bagnalls team members.
All work was completed to the high standard that Bagnalls is known for in just four weeks, in line with our customer’s expectations. We carried out all painting and decorating during the bank’s closing hours, ensuring minimal disruption to both NatWest staff and customers.
The refreshed banking hall and staff breakout spaces are now much brighter and more polished, providing a positive environment for both customers and employees.
