Bagnalls Highly Commended at the National Apprenticeship Awards 2023!

Bagnalls is thrilled to announce that we have been Highly Commended in the Large Employer category at the Yorkshire and Humberside National Apprenticeship Awards 2023!
The awards received 1,200 entries nationally from across a range of diverse sectors, including the public sector, construction, health, science and painting and decorating. We’re honoured to have been selected for commendation from such a varied and successful pool of applicants.
Our Group Managing Director, Stephen Bagnall, commented “We’re so proud to have had our work as a large employer recognised. So much of our success is down to the determination, integrity and talent of our apprentices and it’s fantastic to watch them progress in their careers. We love being able to offer young people the opportunities they deserve to succeed in the painting and decorating industry.”
Now in its 20th year, the National Apprenticeship Awards highlight success in apprenticeships, both for individuals and businesses as a whole. The awards shine a light on the apprentices who have gone the extra mile during their apprenticeship, the employers who have supported them and the individuals who have championed the benefits of apprenticeships.
Stephen added: “Bagnalls has always had a reputation for developing apprentices via our Training Academy and giving them the tools that they need to progress from apprenticeship to full-time employee and potentially to management level in the future. We’re proud to say that over 30% of our colleagues are current or former apprentices.”
