Clifton Court

Bagnalls were appointed by the Millbridge Group to carry out external building repairs and redecorations to Clifton Court, situated in the St John’s Wood conservation area of London. Clifton Court is a purpose-built block of Mock Tudor flats, dating back to the 1900s.
The programme of works lasted 6 months and included masonry repairs before the application of two coats of Dulux Weathershield Masonry Smooth, while the timbered section, traditional to the Tudor aesthetic, received treatment for damage followed by two coats of black timber stain.
An assessment of all windows was carried out and all necessary carpentry repairs were made prior to the application of two coats of Dulux Weathershield white gloss.
To safely work at height, full access scaffolding was erected on a ‘strike and shift’ basis, limiting the disruption to the residents.
Throughout the process the Bagnalls supervisor, along with a representative from the Millbridge Group, established and maintained contact with the residents to brief them on specific works and arrange necessary window repairs and replacements.
Our supervisor stated “Establishing communication with residents on a project like this is key to its success. We always endeavor to minimise disruption, while gaining the access we need to complete the works”.
