This National Apprenticeship Week (9–15 February), we’re championing our brilliant apprenticeships, covering everything from painting and decorating to business administration, sustainability and more.

As a Bagnalls apprentice, you have the chance to learn from a supportive team of expert colleagues and practice what you’ve learnt on the job, working for a business that recently celebrated our 150th year of success!

Bagnalls operates according to our core values of Safety, Integrity, Respect and People, ensuring that everyone feels valued, secure and safe at work. Whether you need mental health support, wellbeing suggestions or just someone to talk to, the whole Bagnalls team will be on hand to help throughout your apprenticeship.

Our painting and decorating apprentices will also attend college training and spend time at our bespoke Training Academy in Doncaster. Unique to Bagnalls, our Training Academy gives you all the skills you need to succeed in our wonderful industry, with specialist guidance from our Academy Tutor.

When you join Bagnalls as a painting and decorating apprentice, you’ll receive everything you need to achieve amazing results in your future career, completely free of charge. Your apprentice starter pack includes:

  • A fully-stocked tool bag
  • Branded workwear, including t-shirts and overalls
  • High-quality protective equipment, including safety boots and hard hat.

Bagnalls is also committed to providing a fair salary to all of our team members, including our brilliant apprentices. You will receive fair pay for your apprenticeship work, in line with the Construction Industry Joint Council (CIJC) Working Rule Agreement.

Provided you meet the criteria below, you can apply to join any of our apprenticeship schemes today:

  • Minimum of Level 3 in Maths and English.
  • A commitment to developing a career within the painting and decorating industry.
  • A passion for delivering the highest quality customer service.
