Supporting Schools: Bagnalls Donates Books to Greenwich Pupils

Bagnalls is increasingly proud of our Community Paintbrush scheme, which supports the communities we work in through donations, volunteering and more. Our London team recently identified a fantastic donation opportunity, to support two local Greenwich primary schools.
We donated £200 to help purchase a range of books that aim to support the mental health of young children. The teachers and pupils at Alderwood Primary and Middle Park Primary were thrilled to receive their new books, which can now be found in their libraries.
In order to provide this support via our Community Paintbrush scheme, we worked alongside the brilliant Elle from Cosy Corner Bookshop. Elle helps support schools and nurseries with book donations, focusing on supporting the emotional wellbeing of children by championing books that address feelings and explore social issues.
We hope the teachers and students at Alderwood and Middle Park find their new books helpful and interesting – whether they use them collectively in class or individually during quiet reading time.
Reading is so important for our children’s development and we are exceedingly proud to have contributed to such an important cause. Bagnalls aims to continue to donate to similar community support projects as we get into the swing of our 150th year!
