Top Marks for Bagnalls & Cadent
16 November 2021
We’re proud to have helped another community project with our recent work for Malvern Primary School in Liverpool!
At Bagnalls, Corporate Social Responsibility forms a core part of our identity, and we have been carrying out community-focused projects like our work for Malvern Primary School across five generations of family business.
Together, volunteers from Cadent and Bagnalls spent a day during the October half term helping to brighten up the school building, including redecorations to the library, the music room, a storeroom, and much more! Bagnalls also supplied the paint and equipment needed to make this project happen and welcomed the additional support of its specialist subcontractor J K Roadmarking who undertook the repainting of the car park linings – marking a superb collaborative effort between the three companies.
The headteacher of the school, Mr Tony James, gave top marks to all the volunteers, thanking them for their hard work and generosity, which has not only brightened up the school but resulted in significant cost savings. “At a time when school budgets are so tight and every penny counts, it was brilliant that the Cadent, Bagnalls and JK Road Marking teams came in to help us out,” Mr James said.
“We are incredibly grateful for the support from all three companies. Through the outstanding social value work undertaken, our school building, grounds and wider community were improved for all. The team were professional and hardworking and there was a real buzz in the air created by their collective ambition. As we say at Malvern – together we are stronger! A huge thank you for supporting our community – your kindness is greatly appreciated.”
