Bagnalls Wins 17th RoSPA Gold Award & 3rd Order of Distinction
26 August 2026
Bagnalls is honoured to have received yet another RoSPA Gold award – our 17th consecutive recognition from the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA)!
This also means we now have our third Order of Distinction, which is awarded once a company has a achieved a minimum of 15 RoSPA Gold awards. This showcases our total commitment to health and safety – for our team, our customers and the general public.
Becky Slater, our Head of Safety, Health, Environment and Quality (SHEQ), was instrumental in coordinating our application to the awards. She also plays a significant role in engaging our workforce in more safety conversations.
She had this to say of the win: “Receiving our 17th RoSPA Gold award is a truly incredible achievement for us as a team and as a business.
“I want to say thank you to the whole Bagnalls team – from our painters on the tools to our brilliant apprentices, management team and office professionals – for working safely, every day.”
This achievement was particularly important, as 2026 also marks RoSPA’s 70th anniversary supporting health and safety development across a range of UK businesses from different sectors, including construction, entertainment and more.
Since celebrating our own 150th anniversary last year, we understand just how wonderful these milestones are, so we want to say a big congratulations to the whole RoSPA team for their tireless work!
It is thanks to their dedication that what started out as a small awards ceremony championing safety has now become one of the biggest and more prestigious health and safety awards across the world.
Julia Small, RoSPA’s Growth Director, said: “We congratulate the Bagnalls team on their RoSPA Gold Health and Safety Award. The high standards that Bagnalls has achieved are the result of hard work and dedication, of which the team should be rightfully proud and which RoSPA is delighted to honour.
“2026 is a landmark year for the RoSPA Awards, as we reflect on how far workplace safety has come in 70 years. It is because of the commitment of health and safety leaders like Bagnalls, that people today are safer at work than in the past, setting an inspiring example for the future.”
The Bagnalls team is thrilled to continue to be a part of this proud legacy of organisations dedicated to keeping employees and the public safe.
