Local Authorities

At Bagnalls, we understand the challenges faced by Local Authorities including cuts in funding, rising demand for services, loss of revenue streams, dilapidation of and lack of housing stock.

With a history dating back to 1875, we are best placed to provide painting works across a whole spectrum of properties from residential housing to public buildings. We offer a flexible approach that meets your own and your customers’ needs, in line with agreed budgets so projects do not cost more than planned for.

We take a collaborative and partnership approach to ensure that together we achieve mutually agreed objectives and ensure the longevity of the chosen paint application; ultimately saving money in maintenance costs further down the line.

How we work

Customers we have worked for include Bristol City Council, Home Group, Leeds City Council, Riverside Housing Group, London Borough of Tower Hamlets and Ongo Homes.

Services are delivered through directly employed, dedicated teams of qualified, experienced and vetted painters; familiar with completing highly skilled and often detailed work to properties of interest or of a historical nature such as town halls, libraries and civic buildings. All our staff are provided with occupied premises and customer care training as standard, as well as equality, diversity and inclusion guidance to ensure our customers’ requirements remain at the heart of our service delivery.

We offer

Through rigorous health and safety procedures, we minimise disruption and protect your customers, staff, company assets, belongings and building integrity from danger or damage. We adopt a bespoke approach to working in occupied premises with streamlined notification processes in advance of works commencing and the collation of customer feedback during and post completion.

To further support the local communities in which we work we deliver social value through local employment opportunities, apprenticeship programmes, using local suppliers and delivering charitable paint donations and painting projects through our award-winning Community Paintbrush scheme.

Case Studies

For one off local projects, works will be undertaken by the local branch. However, for national refresh programmes and customers with a national portfolio, our Special Projects division will successfully manage and coordinate the works through a single point of contact.
