Bagnalls Supports the Installation of Sample Kiosks to Deliver Clean Water

Bagnalls’ Minor Civils division is proud to work alongside multiple customers across the Midlands. Our team has recently worked with Severn Trent Water (STW) to support the installation of new sample kiosks at various sites. We have also completed associated civil works to enable STW to comply with the latest hygiene water standards.
Our team located the main clean water supply and constructed a suitable chamber to allow others to tap into the main in a hygienic environment. We then installed high-security covers to seal the chamber.
Our operatives excavated existing areas to fit with a specified size and depth to enable the installation of the new sample kiosk base. Trenches were then excavated around the area to enable the installation of power lines, adequate drainage, sample lines and a sump pump. The positioning of all ducting and drains was carried out by our operatives.
Reinstatement works were then undertaken in order to install shuttering, a sub-base and the casting of a new reinforced concrete foundation. The new kiosk was then positioned and installed and footpaths were created to provide safe access.
At Bagnalls, we work alongside our customers to provide a programme of work that operates effectively. We ensured that the installation of the further equipment within the sample kiosk could follow on seamlessly from the work we completed. We often plan work in multiple site locations to ensure the entire project is carried out in a continuous manner.
Specialist teams are deployed when we undertake work such as this, due to the many constraints in force at these sites. These teams are trained to work in close contact with utility assets and with specialist tools.
