The London branch of Bagnalls is ideally located in Teddington to look after the painting and decorating requirements of our customers across the capital and the South East. As such, the Branch has convenient access to the major transport systems into and around the London area, enabling our project surveyors and operatives to arrive at their client property in good time. The team assist our commercial painting customers across a wide range of sectors including but not limited to; retail, corporate/office, hospitality & leisure, estate & property management, healthcare, education/universities, heritage, high-end/prime residential and many more.

Why choose Commercial Decorating Contractors in London?

Our working history in London dates back to the 1920s when Alfred Bagnall & Sons Ltd was commissioned to paint the newly built Empire Stadium as a painting subcontractor to Sir Robert McAlpine. The Empire stadium was the centrepiece of the British Empire Exhibition of 1924-5, where Bagnalls was also the main sign writing and painting contractor. Shortly after the exhibition closed, the Empire stadium was redeveloped to become the spiritual home of football, Wembley.

Nearly 100 years later and Bagnalls expertise is still in demand, having recently completed the external painting of the Wembley Arena with a specialist Liquid Plastics coating and carrying out general maintenance painting at the new Wembley stadium. Another iconic sporting ground being painted on a regular basis by Bagnalls is Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC), owner of Lord’s Cricket Ground – the Home of Cricket.

Award-winning decorating contractors London

Bagnalls are regular attendees at the annual Painting & Decorating Association awards. In 2016, the Teddington branch were shortlisted for the Premier Trophy Award with their work on Gallery Four, the Egyptian Sculpture Room at the British Museum. Much of the work carried out by the team at Teddington is of the same calibre where attention to detail and quality of finish is paramount. Other recent notable projects include the King David Lounge at Heathrow Terminal 4, The Jockey Club at Kempton Park, Plaisterers’ Hall in the city and Virgin Atlantic’s “The Base” Training Centre.
