As this sector grows in line with an aging population, we understand the complex requirements of resident care, minimising disruption to daily routines, ensuring safe working areas and maintaining tidy environments.

How we work
Services can be provided on a one off, single site basis or a cyclical maintenance painting and redecoration programme nationally through our National Painting Division.
We often hold open days or welcome events with our customers on their sites to help residents choose colours, meet the team and generally feel involved in forthcoming works.
All our painters are directly employed, have received training in working in occupied premises, customer care and Dementia awareness. All painters working in these environments are DBS checked and cleared. Once we have assigned a team to a project, we will continue to use the same to ensure familiarity with residents on site.
We offer
It is widely documented that colours and design including décor and lighting have a positive impact on residential spaces – especially for the elderly or patients with health conditions such as Dementia.
Our Contracts Management team, along with the support of our paint supply chain can advise on the benefits of:
- The use of the Dulux, ‘Designing for Dementia’ colour palette
- Tonal differences which help residents distinguish areas on site such as toilets
- Using paints with differing light reflective values to enhance mood or subtly differentiate corridors and changes in levels to reduce the risk of falls
- Creating areas or zones for varying purposes.
We will work with you to create a bespoke painting solution that is considerate to your customers but also meets the needs and the expectations of staff and stakeholders.
