How we work
We work closely with our supply chain experts including Dulux, PPG Johnstones and Crown, to offer the expertise needed and various colour scheme options to determine the ideal colour palette and paint specification for your needs, selecting colours which will positively impact learning environments.
Advancement in paint technology such as low or no VOC (volatile organic compounds), water-based paints with low odour and faster drying times, also means that there is minimal risk to students and less requirement for areas to be closed down for extended periods of time.
We work with educational estates teams to:
- Optimise delivery of our services during holiday periods
- Dedicate a site team of painters for measured term contracts and partnerships
- Meet tight time schedules by offering flexible working solutions
- Minimise disruption to staff, students and the general public.
- Cordon off work areas to create safe areas of work
- Ensure safe access and egress at all times.
We offer
As a national contractor with a workforce of over 600 trained and experienced painters, we can deliver high volumes of work during holiday periods. We can also offer flexible working during term time with weekend and night working.
We acknowledge our responsibility to safeguard children and young adults, therefore all staff allocated to these projects will hold enhanced DBS clearance, where required.
Our branch network ensures that every school, university or college has a Bagnalls team on their doorstep ready to deliver one-off painting projects or cyclical maintenance contracts – and for customers with regional or national requirements, such as Academy Trusts, our National Painting Division offers a single point of contact for all your painting needs, delivered locally through coordination with our network of branches.
